Management Science and Engineering

1. Research Direction

1) Information Management and Information System

Main research contents include: theory on design of management information system and management decision support system; the planning method, development technology, security mechanism, and evaluation system of information system; information retrieval technology; as well as the application of data mining technology in management information and decision support system.

2) E-commerce

Main research contents include: management theory of E-commerce, E-commerce and ERP integration, marketing management of E-commerce, network architecture of E-commerce, Web data management and E-commerce technology.

3) Logistics and supply chain management

Main research contents include: supply chain inventory decision-making and optimization, compression of multistage supply chain response cycle, supply chain cooperation and contract design, sharing of supply chain information, design and construction of logistics system, site selection for logistics facilities, selection and evaluation of third-party logistics, and performance evaluation of logistics, etc.

4) Management decision

Main research contents include: enterprise operation performance evaluation, optimization of enterprise management decision, supply chain management and inventory optimization, economic projection, economic system analogy and simulation, and quantitative decision-making of enterprise, etc.

2. Curriculum

Compulsory courses: dialectics of nature, operational research, object oriented methodology, database theory and design, game theory, and contemporary management theory.

Elective courses: system dynamics model and simulation, data mining, decision support system, project management, information resource management, advanced operational research, management model and simulation, modern computer networks, information safety engineering, information retrieval technology, econometrics, supply chain management, financial engineering theory and practice, mobile commerce development technology.

3. Education system

Adopt credit system. Standard education system: 3 years, and 2~4 years flexible management.

 

Computer Science and Technology

1. Research Direction

1) Database technology and data mining

Modern information resource management aims at studying how to reasonably dig, use and collocate information resources and technology resources, improve overall efficiency of information resources, and roundly serve management and decisions by comprehensively using database, data warehouse, information retrieval, knowledge discovery, and database mining, etc. Main research contents include: Web data management, distributed data management, data mining, information retrieval, affective computing, and decision support system, etc.

2Multimedia technology

Multimedia technology is a research hotspot in the field of computer, and has wide application prospects. Main research contents include: multimedia technology and its application, streaming media technology and its application, computer image and video processing, biomedical image processing, and pattern recognition, etc.

3Network engineering

Computer network is the foundation for communication in modern information society. Main research contents include: internet and mobile internet, theory of computer network management and realization of its application, computer network security technology, mobile communication application system, and distributed application and computing network, etc.

2. Curriculum

Compulsory courses: engineering mathematics, introduction to dialectics of nature, algorithm analysis and design, object oriented methodology, database theory and design, digital image processing, modern computer networks, foreign literature reading, distributed database system, modern signal processing, and artificial intelligence, etc.

Elective courses: network engineering, data mining, pattern recognition information and coding, advanced computer architecture, academic thesis writing, modern database technology, information retrieval technology, wavelet analysis and its application, project management, pervasive computing, mobile commerce development technology, technology of internet of things, and information security technology, etc.

3. Education system

Standard education system: 3 years, and 2~4 years flexible management.

 

Quantitative Economics

1. Research Direction

1) Economic game and information economics 

It aims at studying the application of game theory in the fields of macro economy, finance and fiscal, international trade, industrial development, and business administration by using the theories and methods of game theory and economics and using various advanced econometric software and simulation software.

2) Econometric analysis and prediction 

It aims at establishing macro-economic model, fiscal model, financial model and industrial economic model to analyze and predict the macro economy by using methods of statistics and econometrics and using various advanced statistic and econometric software.

3) Financial econometrics and investment analysis 

It aims at establishing mathematical models to study the investment and financing decision making behaviors in the development of modern macro economy and enterprise and examines the applicability and effectiveness of financial policy measures by comprehensively using theories and methods of mathematical sciences and quantitative analysis and combining both quantitative and qualitative.

2. Curriculum

Compulsory courses: introduction to dialectics of nature, intermediate econometrics, mathematical economics, advanced operational research, game theory, foreign literature reading, analysis of time series, data processing and application of statistical software.

Elective courses: operational research, system dynamics model and simulation, data mining, managerial statistics, advanced econometrics, economic application random process, supply chain management, theory of security investment, theory of financial risk, information economics, and academic thesis writing.

3. Education system

Standard education system: 3 years, and 2~4 years flexible management.
