Information Management and Information System

1. Research Direction

1) Information and knowledge management. It mainly studies theories and methods of enterprise information system, planning of enterprise informationization strategy, enterprise informationization and management reform, preparation and management of enterprise information resources, performance evaluation of enterprise informationization, obtaining, sharing, transferring, using and evaluation of organizations' knowledge, so as to promote the improvement of viability and competitive advantage of organizations, and make it be able to help organizations construct innovative ability, improve performance, promote research and development and enhance value of customers.

2）Data and knowledge engineering. It mainly studies theories and methods of Web information management, information retrieval and data mining, and their application; studies modeling, denotation, storage, ratiocination, inquiry, retrieval and using of Web information and knowledge. Its research target is digging and extracting useful knowledge from quantities of data, and effectively uses the knowledge.

3）Intelligent information processing. It mainly carries out theoretical and practical studies to mass and complex information by integrating theories and measures of the field of mathematics, artificial intelligence, logic, and cognitive science, etc. Include theories and methods of Web data model, webpage automatic classification, Web information retrieval, Web data mining, fuzzy neural network, and infrared face recognition, etc, and their application.

E-commerce and E-government

1. Research Direction

1) Theory of E-commerce and its application. Combining network technology with business management theory, it mainly studies the architecture and front-end realization technology of e-commerce application platform, technologies of security, quick access, filtering and sorting processing of e-commerce information, security authentication technology, theory and realization model of personalized service, as well as intelligent technology of e-commerce.

2) Theory of E-government and its application. It mainly studies the operation mode and system architecture of E-government, supporting application environment of E-government, development mode of E-government, management policies and technological policies of E-government, fundamental standard and management norms of E-government, special management and technical solutions to problems of E-government, government decision support system, and project management of E-government evaluation system, etc.

Management Decision and Analysis

1. Research Direction

1) Management decision. It mainly aims to illuminate and reveal the rules of management activities, and apply and develop management theories and methods by using modern scientific methods and scientific and technological achievements. It involves multiple disciplines, such as operational research, system theory, cybernetics, management science, histology, and IT, etc. It has wide application prospects in the field of organizational management and operation, prediction and decision-making, planning and control, and optimal management, etc. It deeply studies and solves practical problems existed in social economy and development, government management and enterprise management from three aspects, namely system evaluation, system control and system optimization, and strives to realize theory and method innovation.

2) Operation and supply chain management. It mainly studies operation decisions and management strategy, optimization of operation system, enterprise's operation mechanism and coordination mechanism, operation performance and its influence factors, supply chain inventory decision, supply chain system design and building, supplier evaluation and selection, supply chain performance evaluation, supply chain coordination mechanism and contract design, and supply chain information value and sharing, etc.

Service computing and applications

1. Research Direction

1) Web service and mobile information processing. It provides support to enterprise application integration and service computing under Internet environment through providing transparent, intelligent and uniform information access interfaces, and studies methods and technologies for Web service software testing and supporting technologies and theories for improving quality of mobile information service. The main research contents include Web information integration, Web service software testing, and mobile information processing, etc.

2) Service computing platform and safety. Taking service-oriented critical technologies, such as computing, storage, communication and safety guarantee, as research target and taking constructing infrastructure platform needed by modern service industry as target, it aims at realizing omnipotent computing platform and ubiquitous service. The main researches contents include cloud computing and its application, mobile service computing and its application, and service computing security, etc.

3) Intelligent information processing and financial service. Using intelligent information processing technology analyzes huge number of financial data, clears up and transfers financial data, and realizes visualization structure and displaying model and financial visualization and analysis. Using existing biometric authentication and encryption and decryption technology realize safe and reliable payment. Main research contents include intelligent identification and security payment, financial data analysis and risk management, information visualization and its application, etc
