The department is mainly responsible for the teaching and management tasks of the major of Management Science. The major has recruited the undergraduate student since 2002. It aims at cultivating senior professional talents with necessary mathematics, economics, and computer application technologies. The student must have solid fundamental theory and knowledge of management discipline. They can use advanced theories, methods, technologies of management, mathematics and computer models to analyze problems facing with operations management, organization management and technology management, decisions making and organizing.
   Currently, there are 17 teachers in the department of Mathematics and Management Decision, which includes 6 professors, 5 associate professors and 6 lecturers. There are 3 doctoral supervisors, 6 master's supervisors and 13 doctors in the department.
