The department is mainly responsible for the teaching and management tasks of the major of Information and Computing Science. The major has recruited undergraduate students since 2000. It aims at cultivating innovative and entrepreneurial talents with good mathematics foundations and quantitative analysis capacity, who should master the foundational theory, methods and skills of computing discipline, and know the foundational knowledge of economic management.
