SIM Held a Symposium of Democratic Parties and Returnees

On January 5, School of Information Management (SIM) held a symposium of Democratic Parties and returnees in H302, in order to collect suggestions on Party building, talent introduction, undergraduate teaching, quality of talent training and so on. President Fang Yuming, Secretary of the Party Committee Zhang Zhijun and other school leaders attended the meeting.

At the symposium, Zhang briefly introduced the achievements made by the college in "CPC history learning education", fully affirmed the positive role of the Democratic Parties and returnees, and thanked them for their outstanding contributions.

Professor Hua Changsheng and Dr Han Jialin pointed out that SIM needs to broaden publicity channels so that people who want to learn about the specialties will be more accurately recruited. Zou Yuren, Professor of the Democratic Party pointed out that teachers should teach more cutting-edge knowledge and the latest trends, and combine theoretical learning with practical ability to stimulate students' learning initiative.

Fang pointed out that SIM will actively consider everyone's suggestions, work out solutions, and make joint efforts to improve SIM’s comprehensive ability and external influence.
