SIM wins golden prize in the 13th Challenge Cup Jiangxi Student Entrepreneurial Plan Competition

On May 28, the 13th Challenge Cup Jiangxi Student Entrepreneurial Plan Competition, hosted by Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, concluded successfully. After the qualification examination, provincial rehearsal, video defense and comprehensive examination by the organizing committee and jury, the project "Chinese Self-Review - AI Intelligent Chinese Assessment Learning Platform", proposed by Li Huannan, a bachelor student majored in Information and Computing Science, supervised by Zhang Zhijun and Yang Bo, won the Gold Award. In addition, the project "IIMS Industrial Intelligence Software, helping industrial sites to reduce costs intelligently and efficiently", proposed by postgraduate student Yuan Pengwei and supervised by Jiang Wenhui, Fang Yuming and Zhang Zhijun, won the Silver Award.

In order to prepare for the competition, SIM attached great importance to the competition and organized it seriously, and all functional departments worked closely together to establish a perfect service system for the Challenge Cup and mobilize all teachers and students to participate. During the competition, a total of 14 entries were received, of which 7 were selected to enter the school competition, and 5 students from SIM were selected to enter the school competition along with teams from other colleges and won excellent results in the provincial competition.

        The competition lasted for several months, and the teams went through many defenses and screenings from the college competition, the school competition, the provincial competition, the preliminary examination, the rehearsal and then the final, which was not easy to obtain. The next step will be to further polish our work and prepare for the national competition to achieve further success.
