Unity of the University and Enterprises, Creating the Future Together

On March 26th, in order to provide a communication platform for employers and students in our college and to enhance the employment of our graduates, the School of Information Management organized and planned the "Employment and Industry-Academia Cooperation Symposium" held in Conference Room 302 of the Hui Lu Building. Representatives from companies such as Huaqin Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Yuannian Technology Co., Ltd., Shanghai Anshuo Information Technology Co., Ltd., Northern Unicom Communication Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Leyoujia Holdings Group Co., Ltd., Beijing Huarong Kaiwei Plant Protection Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Fangxin Information Technology Co., Ltd., Allinpay Network Services Co., Ltd. Jiangxi Branch, and Beijing Bank Co., Ltd. Nanchang Branch attended the symposium. Zhang Zhijun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, Yang Wanqi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Shen Bo, Vice Dean, Liu Yanting, Career Counselor, and Tang Sheng, Counselor, participated in the symposium.

At the beginning of the meeting, Zhang Zhijun, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, introduced an overview of the college. Secretary Zhang provided a detailed overview of the School of Information Management in terms of college development, construction of professional disciplines, and talent cultivation standards. To help employers better understand our educational philosophy, Secretary Zhang elaborated on the talent cultivation standards from five dimensions: the fit of educational positioning, the support of teaching operation, the effectiveness of quality assurance, the achievement of training objectives, and the satisfaction of educational quality. This reflects our college's educational positioning of "Smart Data + Finance" and the interdisciplinary teaching characteristics of talent cultivation.

During the symposium, the nine representatives from the attending companies took turns to provide detailed explanations on the company's business status, management philosophy, scope of operations, development direction, and employment needs. Among them, the representative from Allinpay Network Services Co., Ltd. Jiangxi Branch mentioned that their company has a wide range of business and strong specificity, and they particularly welcome fresh graduates majoring in computer-related fields to join the company. Huaqin Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. emphasized their focus on research and development capabilities and their commitment to providing global services for intelligent hardware platforms. Shanghai Anshuo Information Technology Co., Ltd. integrates software services, consulting services, and the banking industry, and values the cultivation of talent with diverse skills.

        In the final part of the meeting, the nine companies engaged in more in-depth and open discussions with the college leaders. The company representatives expressed their views and discussed practical matters such as talent demands, the employment status of graduates, talent cultivation directions, and job matching, in order to better promote deep cooperation among the college, graduates, and companies. Deputy Secretary Yang Wanqi also inquired about specific requirements for internships and recruitment, addressing the most pressing concerns of the graduating students. The successful conclusion of this Employment and Industry-Academia Cooperation Symposium not only allowed the School of Information Management to understand the development direction and talent needs of major companies but also established a bridge of communication between our college and the companies, deepening the cooperation between higher education institutions and enterprises. It demonstrated the unity of the university and enterprises, working together to create a better future.
