Dr. Yan Jiebin published papers in top international journals

Dr. Yan Jiebin has published papers as the first author and corresponding author in prestigious domestic and international journals, including "Journal of Computer Science and Technology" (a recommended A-class domestic journal by the China Computer Federation) and "IEEE Transactions on Image Processing" (a top-tier international journal in the field of image processing). The published papers are titled "A Survey on Video Quality Assessment" and "Study of Spatio-Temporal Modeling in Video Quality Assessment". "Journal of Computer Science and Technology" aims to report the highest-level research achievements in the field of computer science and technology in China. It is classified as T1 (top tier) in the "Catalog of High-Quality Scientific and Technological Journals in the Field of Computing" by the China Computer Federation and is recognized as a domestic A-class authoritative journal by our university. "IEEE Transactions on Image Processing" is widely recognized as one of the top journals in the field of image processing, with an impact factor of 11 in 2022. The research published in this journal represents significant advancements in the field of image processing and has an important impact on image processing and related areas.

With the rapid development of digital media, research on video quality assessment plays an increasingly important role in the field of multimedia processing, such as optimization of multimedia processing algorithms and systems. These two papers comprehensively and in-depth explore video quality assessment, systematically reviewing the design principles and approaches of existing video quality assessment models. They also point out the current development status and future trends, providing important references for research in visual content analysis, visual quality assessment, and visual quality optimization. Additionally, addressing the spatio-temporal modeling issue in video quality assessment, the papers propose an experimental scheme based on explicit temporal modeling and implicit temporal modeling comparison. The research findings indicate that implicit temporal modeling remains effective in representing video quality, pointing out new directions for the design of video quality assessment models.

Dr. Yan Jiebin is currently a lecturer and master's supervisor in the School of Information Management. His research interests include computer vision and virtual reality technology. He is a member of the China Computer Federation, the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, and the China Society of Image and Graphics. Dr. Yan serves as a reviewer for top-tier journals and conferences such as "IEEE Transactions on Multimedia". He has published over 20 papers in internationally renowned journals and conferences, including IEEE TIP, IJCV, Journal of Computer Science and Technology, IEEE TMM, IEEE TCSVT, and AAAI. Among these publications, 10 papers are recommended by the China Computer Federation as A-class or published in IEEE Transactions. His work has received over 420 citations according to Google Scholar.
